| Me: "Mom, are you going to Loren Robertson's wedding?" [daughter of her friend] Her: "Yes." Me: "Do I have to invite your friends to my wedding?" Her: "Your father tells me you won't be getting married." Me: "We'll see. I won't be if I have to invite your friends." Her: "My friends wouldn't come to your wedding anyway."
...oy.

This bears repeating: Jerry Falwell's grandson goes to my school.

| RIP, Bluebell. I was a terrible owner/guardian to you! I'm sure this xanga post will follow you to "birdie heaven," as my mom put it in the email, and send you my love.

| Facebook status that I can't post on facebook because people will see it, unlike on this lovely xanga: Ginny is emo-ed out.

| Oh how I would love an extension on this paper. I've been awake (and actively busy, not just sitting around) for like 33 of the last 37 hours. I really do well on a sleep-to-wake ratio of like 10:14, not 4:33. I did not staaaaaaaart this 3-5 page paper until 2:00. Which would be fine, except I'm so fucking tired that I'm sure I'm not making any sense. And it's 20% of my grade. And I so could have just asked for an extension on Tuesday, and she probably would have given it to me (even though I don't have an academic excuse... a lesson plan is certainly not enough reason to postpone a paper. SWAS is, though). Ah well, if I had gotten an extension, it would be due Tuesday, and... let's face it, doing it Monday night would be just as bad, what with SWAS-tastic hell breaking loose all that day. But at least I would have gotten more than four hours of sleep the night before! I sort of finished my outline, but it's super bad... and I don't really have an argument. Or anything silly like that. I wish the first paper we did was worth 20%, and this were 15%! Tuesday: 7:45 wake up 8:30 walk to school 9:00 kindergarten 12:00 walk back to school 12:30 class (while scarfing down lunch, which was a muffin because I didn't have time to buy anything else) 2:00 class 3:20 walk to tutoring 3:35 drive to tutoring 4:00 tutoring 5:00 drive home 5:25 go home for the first time in nine hours 6:00 dinner 7:00 fixing SWAS fliers and tickets 9:00 fliering 12:30 WaWa Wednesday! 1:00 homework 3:30 bed 7:30 wake 8:00 class 9:30 fliering 10:15 shower 10:45 set up for tickets 11:00 sell tickets, eat, homework 1:00 class 2:00 sell tickets, homework, stress about not having sold nearly enough tickets 5:30 CORE dinner on linguistic diversity 7:00 Mosaic movie 9:00 FMLA 10:00 Lambda 11:00 Quiznos 12:00 lesson plan 2:00 start paper 3:00 finish outline (ish), write ridiculous xanga post outlining last two days and how I keep starting to cry at random intervals and tomorrow I'm busy from 8:00-4:30 with possible activity from 4:30-5:00 and then from 5:30-7:00 and then from 7:00-9:00. I do too much. Vagina monologues should be awesome, though. (That's what's from 7:00-9:00). Then I will do some homework, and actually MAYBE go to sleep at a reasonable hour. And wake up at an unreasonable hour, and spend seven and a half hours on my feet in kindergarten. Delightful. Then I'll sell more tickets. And sleep forever. Until I wake up on Saturday and sell more tickets. Same Sunday. And continue to be ridiculously behind on my science and my psych and my math readings. The only thing I manage to read is lesbian lit. And I still can't write the damn paper.
...I remember over break when people were like "Going back to class is going to be so stressful!" And I was like "No it won't, classes are easy!" ...that's true. But elementary school is fucking hard, and SWAS is even harder. And I would cry, if I weren't too tired
